The dandelion is the only flower that represents the three bodies of the sun, moon and stars. The beautiful yellow flower resembles the sun, the puff ball resembles the moon and the dispersing seeds resemble the stars. Dandelions open to greet the morning and close in the evening to go to sleep. The whole lifecycle of a dandelion is shown within this piece with three of its pollinators in the middle. A six spot burnet moth, a green veined white butterfly and a bumblebee.
A copy of one of my Lino prints. Printed onto 300gsm paper. Colours and textures may vary slightly from product photos. Print arrives signed by the artist.
